Youth Rights Project

Comments Off on Youth Rights Project

One of the major challenges facing our Youth is the understanding of rights and responsibilities and their marginalization in career and job opportunities. HURISA organises human rights training workshops for youth representatives and organisations focusing on Youth rights. The purpose of the training workshops is to build values of responsibility, exchange of expertise, skill enhancement and deepening understanding on rights enshrined in the constitution, regional and international frameworks that open opportunities for the Youth. Participants are expected to impart the skill and expertise at community level by way of facilitation of workshops, seminars and meetings. The training builds their capacity and empowers them to have stronger understanding of human rights issues directly related to youth and be in a position to use their potential to initiate projects that seeks to improve situation of human rights from the ground.
